Straw distribution and mixing is important for stable yields when mulch sowing. Conventional heavy cultivators and disc harrows do not mix soil and straw enough. The result: piles of straw and strips in which the subsequent seeds have no water connection. Not so with the Vario! The soil and straw are intensively mixed by the 8-row arrangement of the tines and reconsolidated by the double STS roller. Shallow, fine and firm!
